Fiduciary. Benold Financial Planning professionals are 100% committed to acting as fiduciaries, the highest legal standard in a client/advisor relationship—a standard we believe all clients should demand! The fiduciary standard gives clients piece of mind, by reassuring them that we are only acting in the clients’ interests

Fee-Only. Here at Benold Financial Planning we use a fee-only approach, because we take payment only from you, the client. This is mutually beneficial as it helps us to maintain goals that are aligned with those of our clients’ specific financial situations. As a fee-only firm we also receive no commissions, sell no products, and receive no kickbacks from the selection of any security recommended by us. Clients receive 100% fee-based financial guidance without a hidden agenda or conflicts of interest.

CFP®. Our advisors are CFP® certified meaning we're Certified Financial Planners™. With this respected designation comes the knowledge that we have completed rigorous training and achieved certain education requirements. Furthermore, we uphold a strict ethical obligation to our clients, meaning our advice is always in your best interest.
Planning is a map and investments are the vehicle. Our investment philosophy is based on goals and an objective mindset to secure long-term success to meet the client’s needs. We do not take for granted the trust our clients place in us when building their diverse investment portfolio. You should understand that the market can be volatile at times which is out of our control. However, there are things we can control:
  • Reducing expenses
  • Diversifying portfolios
  • Minimizing taxes
  • Staying disciplined
Benold Financial Planning constructs and monitors our clients’ portfolios. Our clients’ portfolios are designed to be cost-effective solutions that help them pursue their goals by utilizing the investment markets with broadly diversified allocations.

Moral of the story - CONTACT US and we will take it from there.
Our clientele has changed through the years. Initially financial planning was to help baby boomers navigate retirement and for the wealthy with a million plus in assets. While that still holds true today, our financial planning services are available for everyone now. In fact, we have partnered with individuals and families in a variety of financial situations across the country.

While we don't have an asset or net worth minimum, most of our client's net worth is greater than $300,000. Not a fit? No worries, we don’t discriminate - just give us a call and we can discuss your situation. If we’re not the right resource for your needs, we can point you in the right direction. Working with a financial planner can help you see the big picture and set long and short-term life goals, a crucial step in securing your financial wellbeing. When you have a financial plan, it's easier to make financial decisions and stay on track to meet your goals.

A financial planner doesn’t necessarily help you “beat the market”, but rather in coaching clients on how to save more, get out of debt, avoiding unnecessary income taxes, or saving on insurance. Financial planning can eliminate the cloud of uncertainty that follows most people with respect to their money, taxes and investments. To that end, we empower our clients with knowledge and transparency about their investments and financial obligations.
At Benold Financial Planning, we believe our clients benefit the most by engaging in a financial planning relationship. This allows us to better understand their needs and goals and give tailored advice. We follow the financial planning process as prescribed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.
